Sisterhood

The young women in blue, little girls in brown.
Drapped across the stadium singing songs of gay.
Laughter ringing, hands flagging.
My sisters, my guiding friends.

Loss could not described my feelings.
No longer a part of the blue, no longer the core.
Older, matured and leaders of the pack,
Where have the fun days gone?

The days where only your company matters,
the days of winning glory,
The days of innocent sisterhood,
the days where songs and competitions serenades.

A part of me will always be,
a little blue complement with the many tunes,
laughing, cheering, loving every moment of my life.

I miss those days,
days where life was simpler,
days where colours dominate,
days where sisterhood rules.
