Today, I've realised it REALLY isn't easy starting a business.
After much hunting, meeting people and trying to get our hands on resources,
some important truth dawned to me.
Chinese is an important medium of communication!
Yet as we grew exasperated at the fact that drastic, expensive labour and resources makes it difficult to survive in Singapore,
certain good things went our way.
There are good samaritians in this business and there are people who sincerely wish to help little girls like me and gracia. Haha.
We learnt alot. About silk screen, about business, about survival, about ideas.
And it all came when we raise the conversation of us, starting a shirts/bags/shoes business.
Open up and you'll never know who opens to you.
We got disappointed,
to the point where we even suggested that it was okay if we earn nothing but experience as profit.
Until we met this lady called Irene Ang.
Nope, not PCK'S Irene Ang, but a lady passionate about sewing, about textiles, and about helping us.
I never felt so lucky.
Mentor: found in the basement of Katong Shopping Complex.
