Personal Mission Statement:

To live a life of purpose, meaning and enduring joy, I will be the leader of my own life; making my dreams come true by realizing my chosen Vision, guided by universally admirable Values, driven by an enduring Purpose and fired by undying Passions.

VALUES:Values that guide my conducts in life shall be the same admirable values that I have found in the person that I respect,such as beingCapable, Loving, Responsible, Wise, Caring, Intellectual

VISION:Envisioning myself becoming a person who: Mrs Oon thinks is Responsible,Integrity,Ambitious . Rey thinks is Loving,Caring,Resilient. My Parents thinks is Independent,Respectful,Capable.

PURPOSE: My Meaning and Purpose in Life can be derived from the following statements: In 5, 20 and 80 years from now, I hope to be surrounded by the most important people in my life. This is who they are and what I plan to be doing:

5 years: Mrs Oon and family, My family, My boyfriend and my closest friends. 5 years from now, I`ll be studying in an overseas university, earning my degree while learning to be independant and be exposed to the world.

20 years: Mrs Oon and family, my family, my husband and my closest friends who have lasted over the years. I would have been 37 then, either having a steadfast and high achieving or already settled down to be a teacher.

80 years: Celebrating my many many years of marriage along with grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Considering that I`ll live till 97! I will be willing to die for: My husband or my children.

If I have all the money and time in the world, to do anything I wanted (e.g. I`ve just won 10 millions Singapore dollars in a lucky draw), I would like to do following things: Expand my photography equipment!,Go travellling around the world to places I`ve always been wanting to go. Adorn and renovate my house!

If I have only 100 days left to live, I would like to do the following things:

1. Hold a "live" funeral. Like the book "Tuesday with Morrie", I'll like to gather all my friends and family together as we celebrate the passing of my life. I rather they say all the good things i.e (she was a great woman) and mourn together WITH me!

2. I'll also write a book about my life, my stories, my experience. Dedicating it to my loved ones.

3. Having undying faith, meditating and finding inner peace.


PASSIONS: Recognising my strengths and talents as a person who is Decision Making, Working Well with People, Artistic, Speaking, Making Things Happen, Writing

POTENTIAL:Aligning these gifts (i.e. my strengths & talents) with my defined values, to pursue my passions (things that I love to do), while developing my whole self, especiallyPhotographing!, Guiding, Drawing, Reading, Being around friends I can trust., Eating good food, Watching intellectual and worthy movies., Travelling, Commuting around S`pore public buses alone, Reflecting.
