1. There were two farewell days at our workplace this week, one of them being Jennie's on Tuesday.
It was followed with a gourmet 3 hour dinner at American Bounty,
where we had savoury samplings of soup and a cheesy cheese guy who broke wine glasses.
2. It was our usual microwave party, only that its her last time with us. :(
3. At my farewell lunch, Boss bought us all a "shot" of Singapore Sling.
Apparently it was was on the menu,
surprisingly here in unique Woodstock,
and hence should not be resisted,
even though it was in the middle of the day,
on a very busy day.
4.. He, the brilliant workaholic, even closed the gallery for this.
THAT gesture, meant the world for me.
5.. Fawn was still the only one not knowing how to spell my name correctly. Considering how she used to keep introducing me as the one from Thailand, THIS is really nothing. She got me truffles and drove her way down on her off day, to get me this cake and to say the byes.
6.. I also got a Woodstock mug (Can I have a sip, a bite and a drag?), and a beautiful book of unpublished Vogue photographs and its conscised history. The thoughtfulness of the whole gift just made me cry. No expenses spared it seemed.
7. Susan got that picture of me looking at THAT vogue book.
