Every birthday celebration in our family are usually spent in a fancy nice restaurant, so imagine my parents' whines and shock when I suggested mine to be held at Changi Village. I also wanted a bus trip to complement the thrill of the cheapness (but my mom whined her way through)
Seriously, the event turned out to be a "very cheap" affair (by comparism) and the cameras clickings managed to allow the other diners to think we are almost tourists.
For the first time, I insisted we got beer because I never drank such a "crude" drink, again by comparism, with my parents.
The night ended with a cake that cost the same price as our whole dinner. Beautiful memorable one celebration. :)
