Memoirs of a Geisha, the screening

We double-dated. Me, Shereen and our boys. Hohoho.

I was so tired, half the time, I didn't really follow the movie.

But it was great. A little too concised for the book junkie but the cinematography was beautiful. The use of lights and shadows got me a little giddy though. Filters, painted the movie. I really wished the part of which Zhang Zi Yi transformed into a Geisha could be prolonged.

Wouldn't make this one of my favourite movie of all times, it was a little too lack of depth. But I admit, its one of the most beautiful made. Oh how i just loved the costumes and kimonos!

I want to watch it again!
