the charming aviator

after procrastinating for a long long time, i finally got down to watch The Aviator.

and I was awfully blown away.

throughout this great, magnificent film, i couldn't stop drooling over the beautiful cinematography, the costume designs and much less, the brillant actor himself. i just got so caught up and eaten up by emotions, amazed by his portrayal of an intelligent, determined perfectionist aviator with a disorder stemmed from his childhood.

The film kept me captivated for 3 whole hours, sucked me into the whole story. I'm just awestrucked by his ability to turn the whole situtaion to his advantage, how he survived a airplane crash, an empire's fall, break a monopoly of international flights. How his humour came in place and brought a nation to his side.

oh wow. wow. wow.
