humans developed over centuries because they had an added advantage over our closest relatives: monkeys.
Language.
Language have become a crucial part of culture, a development of intellectual discussions.
Because without language, we lose what we define certain things variable to various cultures and people.
For eg, to earn a scholarship in western countries means someone had paid for your education, in an asian country it means you are GOOD enough for someone to invest in you.
the chinese especially, loves reading BETWEEN the lines.
perhaps it is our modest culture that frowns when one openly screams their intention.
for we like to be discreet.
we offer, Suggestions.
"Perhaps things might be better if you tried out this way," when they actually mean, "DO THIS."
Don't you agree?
words, can be personified, judged and criticised.
for it is to one's ability of interpreting the figures.
and ability comes with individual's variables: environment, situation and comprehensiveness.
doesn't the power of simple alphabets amaze you with the kind of spark they can ignite?
like that Falungong lady at President's Hu's speech in America?
or closer to home, the opposition's suggestive comments about our ruling party, PAP.
