block system and everything else

woah. seems like everyone has blogged about the block system.

so yesh. grumbling about the 3 weeks' work squeezed to 3 days but yet everything still seems to be moving quite slow for me. my only... comment is that school somehow doesn't give allowance for "acts of God", creativity block nor details such as, distance and travelling. I don't really think you guys get what i mean, but here's an example. You need an outdoor shoot but its raining. Or like, you have to get it done by Thursday 9am but assignment is given on Tuesday, and you're supposedly expected to print "at least a few times to get it right". Printer closes the latest at 630pm on Wednesday.

And yesh, dorothy is right. No more fun. No more tea-bitching. Just sitting down with a sullen face furiously typing and preparing away (Cos everything is due SOON). Sighz.

I heard there is a peition going around. But come to think about it. Even if the director starts to realise the woes we rant here, he cannot appear to be easily swayed to the people he took some time to convince. Our TP's principal would never see the system being toyed around (change one sem and another).

BUT I SERIOUSLY THINK TAKING PHOTO SUBJECTS IN A MONTH IS INSANE.

I had another GC outing yet again. Dinner at Billy Bombers with a certain adorable Joshua. (Mr Terence Leong's son!) followed by a blast at TCC. I rather a small group of 6 of us than a big group with "shallow-er" relations. So.. Kuantan this June, guys?

Evan and Amanda stayed at my place during the weekend for the digital imaging shoot. We encountered crazy bastards dangling a handphone in our face (wanting to shoot Evan in a bikini at a bus stop.) and ridiciously pervertic ah peks driving in the taxis and lorrys. Stinking society we live in, so says Amanda. I honestly owe a great deal to Evan, who happens to be blogging next to me at this moment. Thanks for being such a friend and great model to work with, babe!

WE ALSO WENT "FLEA-ING" TODAY! FLEA DAY AT TIMBERLUX CENTRE. i SO love it.

it feels so "underground", like designer cum good looking people cum exotic allure all jumbled together. I love it, digging thru luggages of bags, squatting at layouts on mats, people watching. The minute we stepped in, we stopped thinking and started digging. Wahaha. At least a dozen of TDS students were there, and everyone else looked as if they came from an IJ/Design school. Throw in a couple of authentic Japanese and Caucasions, a beautiful cosmopolitian experience is concieved!

With $50, i bought 3 dresses, 2 tops and 2 skirts! YAY!!!

Digital imaging almost done. Prepress not started at all. My 1 year anniversary is coming up on Monday. (so long hor?) The tremendous project keep bugging me, i'm just gonna find a way thru.
