today is 2nd August

its a wednesday and one is not supposed to be sleeping till its 5pm.
woke up for lunch and back to sleep
just because you don't want to face the realities of life.
you just want to sleep the problems away.
ever felt like that?

bad bad bad..
tml i'll start again.

anyway,
went for a class called Jazz Techniques.
its aka "subtraction of ballet".
I felt like a foolish goof,
in a place where you obviously stuck out like a sore toe.
I couldn't stop laughing at myself,
my inconceivable stupidity and guts to actually pen down a reservation for a "Beginner" class,
when my standard is probably slightly above "Introduction".

because I was the only one who couldnt do a split,
because the dance teacher came pushing my knees screaming, "down, down".
because when they were dancing and i was tumbling, down the dance floor individually, i got pulled out twice and made to do the leap again.
because i couldn't seperate my right from my left,
because i spin with obvious inertia,
because i can't stop my hand from jutting out to balance myself.
and,
because i was the only one in jeans.

SO EMBARRASING!
i wish i could have been strike down my lightning in that indoor space so i don't have to maintain my downward gaze so as to prevent FURTHER embarrassment.

I know i know,
my strength is obviously not in Dancing.
feel so.... "poser,
like as if in a desperate, foolish attempt in wanting to "belong" in that bunch of ballerinas.

oh.
have i mentioned?
there are 2 particular books i want to get:

"MARTIN EVENING-Photoshop CS for Photographers"
"ALAN FLETCHER- The art of looking sideways"

*hint hint*

a small update on my ever hectic life:

i've gotten myself a brilliant group for Product and Advertising Photography, comprising of Denice and Chai.
Surprisingly, we are a whole bunch of motivated people wanting to get things done efficiently.
Haha.

Tomorrow i'll be meeting with my dearest GC girls,
amanda, evan and nicole in our relentless hunt for fine good food.
it'll be a jap restaurant I've fallen in love with recently.

And come 18th august,
I'll be meeting the oldest bunch of friends i've ever have.
at a laid back Haji Lane.
My primary 5 mates.
5H rocks.

okay, i'm going back to sleep after 7 hours of activity.
