Got hit several times today, like as if a million light bulbs luminated wildy in my head.
Productive day, I feel so on track. Enlightenment came in various forms: My NYAA Gold booklet, my contact prints, my group members for colour presentation, my processed slides and ESPECIALLY the Polytechnic Forum 2005 application. I've never felt so over-the-hill for a long long time.
Empowered, that's my current status. I feel passion skidding in my blood, as if my heart burst into flames. Sounds quite drama, but that's how it really feels. I even literally picked my walking pace today. Fast and efficient, just like how I like things to be. I feel like flying again, it's been a long time since I took those flights. It's like going for PGA (President Guide Award) again, the interviews, the rush. Oh, just how i love it! Its the Polytechnic Forum 2005 application form that drove me into roaring with fiery. This year's theme is "Let's Make it Happen: Singapore A land of Opportunities" in which we'll cover 4 sub themes, my pick would be Engaging Our Youth. It's the whole expressing-your-own-opinion thing, feeling confident yet nervous for your interview. It's the process of sharpening your mind, being vocal and making a difference. It's about the intensive training, and numerous intellectual discussion. I'm seriously deprived of it. It's been so long, I wonder if i'm still in shape.
I like being of help to people, especially in the dark room. I like it when my opinion matters, when they treat it with importance. I especially love it with I bingo-ed with just one test strip and viola! my contact print is done. Things are moving just fine and steady. =)
Working with people with a common goal and vision is pretty important. I realised the distictive characteristics of cliques in colour class today, and how each group could work with their own "kind" pretty efficiently and with a certain coordination. If I should be placed in another other group, end product may not have turned out as wonderful. Group members are important, and I'm so happy to be blessed with awesome, fantastic people. I think we did quite well in presentation today. Hoooray!
oh yea... my NYAA booklet. It just opened many doors in my head, and I'm driven to literally run again. My reservior, here I come! =) 40 hours in 12 weeks, that's 10 hours in a month, 3.75 times of 40 minutes worth of jogging+ warm ups + cool down. That's means I got to find time 4 TIMES A WEEK! But i'll figure, I'm so eager to complete all these. I've also completed 2 months work of Service hours in that one NDP rehersal. I'm so inspired. Hmm.. adventurous expedition might be a problem though. 4 days 3 nights in the wild, camping.
Signing off, to write up on my application about views towards "engaging the youth" and my proposal for photography. wooo lalala!
